blog announcement! *game show when-you-get-the-answer-wrong sound* dun dun DUNNN

song stuck in my head: "beauty and the beast" STILL but whatever!
All righty!! Meesa has a blog announcement! It's nothing bad..the title is just Darth Vader/Game Show-ish. Yeah, that's it. Anyway, so here's my announcement (hold on lemme get the geeky font on)
I'll be having a new blog series. heh, heh, heh. Never gets old.
So yeah, I'll be having a blog series. It's called (hold on again)
Teenagers VS Young Adults.
Raquel over at God's Daughter inspired me to do this after I saw all the interviews on her blog.
I'm going to be doing interviews with some of my friends (blogger friends included) and I'll be asking them about the difference between and teenager and young adult. For example:
  • What is a teenager to you?
  • Do you think teenagers have to be moody and rebellious all the time?
  • What is a young adult to you?
  • How are they different from teenagers?
Then, at the end I'll be asking them if they want to be a teenager or young adult. Sound like fun? I think so! I'll be making a button for it and you can put it on your blog. I already have one person who I interviewed, now working on two!! I have some people who I'll be asking, so if I ask you be prepared to say yes! Please say yes, seriously it would make my day.
Anyway, before I go, I thought you'd enjoy craving these:
I should stop before this post becomes one big cupcake. Bye, y'all!

all the types of cheese... (okay maybe that was random)

So, Lily over at Snatched from the Wind (CHECK. IT. OUT. NOW. You'll love it! SERIOUSLY.) did this post yesterday where she got some pictures from Tumblr (I think I'm going to use WeHeartIt, though) and just talked about random things that are going on in her life. WELL, I LOVED that post, so, I'm going to do one just like it!! I hope that's okay....is it okay *listens like they do on the cheesy kids shows* Okay, kids! Now it's time for-- oops, got carried away. Okay, here I go!!
1. I'm getting a new camera. A point and shoot now, and a really high-tech geeky one later.  I want one soo bad but I don't have the money right now, so, I asked God for the camera. Now, I'm looking at endless camera websites trying to figure out what camera I want. I really need to plan ahead more.
2. I'm pretty sure I'm obsessed with Beauty and the Beast right now. I mean, I saw the movie again for the first time in like 10yrs today, and I'd forgotten the story so much you'd think I hadn't seen it before!! Well, AFTER seeing the movie I decided to kinda add some of my own lyrics to the main song "Beauty and the Beast" (I'm pretty sure that's what it's called) and, I guess I should let you see once I'm done. Anyway, I LOVE the Beast, because he's sweet and kind [and rough] and when he turns into a man I must say he's very good looking.
3. I think I'm going to interview my sister on this blog, or let her do her own guest post herself. I'd like to see what the former High Queen of Random would like to say. Wouldn't you? I think I might make a poll about it..we'll see.
4. I had a dream last night it was snowing in Texas and I finally realized what everyone was complaining about and why they were begging for spring. My friend's supposed to go to Chicago soon and she said it's supposed to SNOW while she's there. I mean, I LOVE snow and all, but it's almost April. Seriously, weather?
5. I have started chapter 25 of "Saga of My Heart" (FINALLY) and so far I'm four pages and 1,206 words into it. *Phew* maybe if I do pretty well I'll have 4,000 or more words by the end of the chapter. If not, I'll make a really long author's note.
6. My mom and I were talking about my wedding, and (it's Narnian themed with Peter Pevensie/William Moseley, I have my dress ready, and his outfit, and I have a title) and she said: "As long as you're not permanently the High Queen of Random, I'm cool." hahaha...oh, mother.
7. I crave cupcakes so badly right now. I'm going to make some!! (I always have the best solutions to these things!)
Oh! By the way, do you think I SHOULD have an interview with my sister or guest post? Comment on this post and let me know and DON'T forget to vote on my poll *points to poll on my sidebar* If you can't see it then....wow....just...wow.

that picture taker...

song stuck in my head: "beauty and the beast theme"...or better yet every song from disney EVER
So, I have these two little bottle things that have amethyst and turquoise in them, and I decided to take some pictures:
I don't remember where I got them, but they were sitting in my treasure chest and I thought...why not? I love the way the "Bloom" sign sits in the back :)
This one didn't turn out all that great...oh well..
I love the way the little pieces are scattered perfectly...it's amazing how something so rugged can turn into something spectacular.
This is my favorite. I love the little pile of turquoise!! I think it's my birthstone...I dunno...I'll google it.
So, whadaya think? I like them, and don't forget to vote on my poll!! *points to poll to the right [i think right...sidebar..whatever] assuming you can see it* What should I name my photography?
  • oh, goshbubbles photography
  • jocee photography
  • ruby rain photography
  • flutterby wings photography
*sigh* I'm happy my [evil little troll] camera took lovely-happy pictures. I guess I should do another list, since it's kinda become a tradition of mine. So, here I go...again.
things i do when my [evil little troll] takes lovely-happy pictures:
  • dream about cupcakes
  • take more pictures
  • dream about cupcakes
  • look at the Disney princes
(heh, heh, not on MY watch)
  • dream about cupcakes
  • draw hearts on a page
  • dream about cupcakes

VOTE ON MY POLL!!!!! please? thank you!
And now, I go to eat sorbet and watch Beauty and the Beast :))

spring writing gala {day 5}

I'm afraid I'm horribly late. I mean, HORRIBLY late. So late, I have the rabbit's song from Alice In Wonderland stuck in my head. Yeah, I'm late...thanks for pointing that out. Anyway! Apart from being late, I'm going to be doing a little paragraph from a movie (ya' know, take a little scene and write it up as best I can) and it'll help with something that I'm writing right now. I hope that made sense. Oh, whatever. I'm using The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, and this'll help me, ALOT. Here I go!
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Peter took a deep breath before emerging from the How with Edmund at his right hand. He was suited in full armor; his helmet sat comfortably on his golden locks of hair. But that wasn't what his mind was focused on. His jaw was set, his shield rested in his left hand. And though the air was filled with shouts of confidence from both the Narnians and Telmarines, all the world was quiet, the only thing that was heard was the simple heartbeat that kept Peter alive.
Four stone pillars stood in the middle of a great field, and in front of Peter and Edmund was the newly crowned king, Miraz, who was adjusting his armor one last time.
"If it should appear to be going poorly," the Telmarine's voice was low, but determined. He nodded his head towards the bow his general held in his hands.
"Understood, your majesty." was the simple answer.
The fight shall be to the death, the reward will be total surrender... the words echoed in Peter's head.
Fixing his eyes on the Narnian king once again, Miraz stood, and placed his golden helmet onto his head, which was molded into the shape of a Telmarine's face.
"I hope you won't be too disappointed when I survive." the last few words were said in a whisper.
Peter drew his sword, and both men stepped into the ring, circling each other; eying each other.
"There is still time to surrender, " Miraz said.
"Well feel free," Peter's tone sliced through the air icily.
"How many more must die for the throne?" the Telmarine's voice had a hint of mockery.
"Just one." And with that, Peter placed the front of his helmet over his face, shielding it, and he began to run to his rival. He let out a yell, as his legs carried him through the air.
The reward shall be total surrender... the blades of steel clashed against each other.
Whoever's surrender it will be...
So, that's my entry. I hope you liked it!! Day 6 will be up...hopefully soon, since my camera hasn't been working that well I dunno if I'll be able to take a video, I guess I'll have to work with pictures. Speaking of pictures, look at this one:
Just capturing the moment....OH! And this one:
*sigh* Look at him!! The sweat on his brow, his hair is damp...ohhhhmyyypreecciousss.
Okay, I'm done.

fuzzy wuzzy was a bear....

fuzzy wuzzy had no hair...
So, today was a really lovely-happy good day. Why? I don't know...maybe because:
  • I got my letter from Lauren of Bits and Pieces today!! (we started pen-palling each other, I'm so excited, I'm getting out my shoe box and putting it inside. Eeek!)
  • I made a new blog button. Isn't it cute?!
Photobucket
(you should add it to your blog rolls or whatever you call them :P)
  • I had waffles for breakfast this morning. Waffles make anything lovely-happy.

  • I was invited by my music composition teacher to this party (I was the only kid there) at this fancy restaurant to see an interview (or something like that) of this really cool British composer named Jonathan Dove. (He talks soo cool!! I shook his hand!! And his music is good..really good..not to mention he's alive...no offense Bach, Mozart...)
  • My voice is back. (I lost it last weekend and couldn't sing....bummer)
  • I can play the first page of Beethoven's "Pathetique" Sonata [almost] flawlessly.
(hahaha....i had to)
  • I have on fuzzy socks. Fuzzy socks can make the world go ROUND *makes a "ROUND" motion with hands*
Yup...today was a day of the fuzzier things in life...the lovely-happier things in life...*gasp* the SNAZZIER things in life (TOTALLY stole that from Lauren....oh well!)
Yeah, I feel sooo loved. Oh, yeah! And, I'm starting something new on this blog! Each whenever I feel like it (since I don't think each day will happen) I'll be doing a list-type-thingy with only one thing on it, and it'll look like this:
number 1 of the infinite fuzzy things in life:
And around the time I'm like...the Doctor's *wink* age, I'll have a kagillion things written down, and if you want to join me, comment and let me know!! So, here I go:

number 1 of the infinite fuzzy things in life:
when you go to sleep with two socks on and wake up with one....

'nighty night you lovely-happy bubbles of the world!!

that insanely awesome song stuck in my head...

So, this is my official Young Spring Retreat post!! If you wanna see the pictures you have to go to Bleah Briann's blog (~With Love & Kisses~) because she took her camera and...I didn't.
So, what happened this last weekend, you ask? Well... (this post is going to be like Bleah's...but it actually helps...)
day 1:
After giving my sister (Joy) multiple goodbyes at the dorm, I went to the cafeteria and just stood there, and waited...and waited...after about 5min I found Bleah, and then while she registered, etc, I ate dinner.
We didn't really work that night, we just hung out by the Prayer Garden near the horses and talked about...everything you can imagine. She told me about all the Ted Dekker books. Lord have mercy she loves Ted Dekker (that's a good thing).
Then, we went to the evening service and hung out afterwards (I was going to get some food but the line was REALLY long so I starved until I got to my dorm).
I stayed with some very sweet lovely-happy people named Nichole and Krissy. They go to the Bible Institute at camp. They're really nice, and we had chocolate ice cream, root beer and Ramen noodles, and we talked. Alot. I'm not sure when I went to bed that night...oh well! (a picture of ice cream for ya')
day 2:
I missed morning service the next day (DANG IT!! I heard it was really good) to go work at the horses (that's where I signed up to work) and I spent almost three hours leading them into their stall from the pasture, brushing them [and kinda combing them], saddling them up, leading them out to their posts, and avoiding piles of...horse droppings.
After service Bleah came out with some of her friends and visited me, and after walking the horses on the trail forever, it was lunch time and I ate. (Just the macaroni & cheese though, I don't like sloppy joes) I then met Micah (you can read more about him at Bleah's blog) and instead of going to the rap/hip-hop concert-type-thingy (we didn't have to) Bleah, Micah and I all hung out in the prayer garden and at the deck near the pool [which was really dirty] we talked about Tangled (the movie) and played around and I wore his rockin' awesome hat! (pic at Bleah's blog, I told you I didn't bring my camera) After the concert was over I went back to work, and walked the horses.
I got sneezed on twice! (by the horse, and bitten once) The bite wasn't that bad...the horse just got mad because I hit her when she sneezed on me....oh well.
I then ate dinner (Micah and Bleah skipped dinner) and I worked in the Bayou (the place where all the dishes get cleaned) with Bleah, Micah, Keelan and Beaver. I got splashed with dirty water UGH!!
We then went to service (that was really good with alot of "amen's" and "preach it's!") and afterwards I FINALLY got to get some curly fries and chicken strips and an Italian soda. But one thing I did that I'll NEVER do again: I drank the soda first and ate the food last. NEVER eat food without having a drink with you. I almost choked.
I then went to this awesome thing called <Prayer^Culture> (it actually looks like that) and had some GREAT TIME worshiping God, and then I went back to the dorm and talked to Nichole for awhile, and eventually fell asleep.
(that's not what the fries there look like, I just really love this picture)
day 3:
I woke up pretty early and ate breakfast (Bleah gave me her cereal and muffin) and it was the last service (and it was AWESOME!!) and they showed these really cool videos called "Predictably Pointless Videos" which is a clip from a movie or a music vid and they voice over the actual voices and do things that are pointless. We once got from ducks to facial hair. I'm not kidding. It was awesome.
Service was then let out and Micah, Bleah and I helped out in the Bayou and played ninja (acted stupid, too) and then we said our goodbyes to Micah and Beaver and Keelan.
I then stayed with Bleah until my dad came (too early) and I read a few chapters of her Ted Dekker book, and [kinda] ate lunch, said goodbye, and went home.
I was soo sore and slept in the car, and got on the laptop for the rest of the day. I didn't cry, but I sure felt like it.
See, whenever I leave camp I always cry for about a week, and then I get back to my normal life, but I always feel like something's missing. I need something more to do. I wish I didn't have to go, but I'm going back in the summer to be a camper for like a week and then intern for two weeks and maybe more...and the whole way home, I was wishing I didn't have to go.
(I love this picture too)
things to do:
  1. Finish chapter 25 of "Saga of My Heart" by tonight
  2. Find "Prince Caspian Movie Companion" book SOMEWHERE
  3. pick out clothes for party tonight (I'm going to a party heeyyyy *whip my hair*)
  4. eat cupcakes
  5. buy a new camera
  6. get a dog so I can enter Allie's pets/animals photo challenge. I think sisters should count as pets
  7. eat cupcakes
"The dream has ended, this is the morning...."

more hoopla..

I'm home! I'm really tired. And hungry. And my mouth's dry. I want cupcakes so bad.
Do you know what it's like spending three days without any form of internet, phone, or communication? Well, I do. It depends on what you're doing to keep you from the media, etc, and what I was doing was SO MUCH FUN. I would honestly give up [most] media for it.
So, where was I you ask? The best place in the world.
Discovery Camp.
It's a Christian camp, right out in the middle of nowhere (and when I say nowhere, I mean nowhere) and I had SO MUCH FUN. But the in-depth post will be tomorrow. I'm too tired to write about all that I did. But, I will say that I was with Bleah Briann (of ~With Love & Kisses~) and we had a ball. And I mean, a ball. Anyway, I now have a question for all of you:
What have YOU been doing?
It's only been like two and a half days...but I've been
Missing cupcakes.
I want one sooo badddd. So, here's me about to go on a cupcake fullscale picture spree. Ready? Here we go.
Yup, that's what I meant by cupcake fullscale picture spree. And now for a completely, utterly and totally uncalled for random list called:
the completely, utterly and totally uncalled for random list. I happen to like this title!
  • i reallyreally like the way comic and cartoon characters slouch
  • i'm going to watch a movie....i'm not sure what, but i'm going to!
  • during this past weekend i talked about canola oil and garbanzo beans...i think febreeze came in there somewhere...
  • you know that smell of furniture stores? yeah..that smell
  • i got sneezed on by a horse twice...more on that tomorrow...
  • i am impained (which means i'm in pain, and i guess you could say "in pain" but i like "impained" better)
  • *whispers* i like fried chicken
Yup, that about covers it. And now, for something that's probably random and completely not understandable. A quote!! Read, read, read!
FINE I'll give you the english version!!

If you love someone, really love someone, you treasure them, and never let them go.
He is forever etched into my memory; his smile brings single droplets of moisture into my eyes; I love him, I love him, I love him.
His touch is electric against my skin, the way he breathes is intoxicating. I love him, I love him, I love him.
He brings emotion into my heart, whether it be ecstasy or sorrow.
I love him, I love him, I love him, whether he is mine in the natural, or an angel from my dreams.
I am on my own, but he is somewhere in the world, and I have yet to find him. He is my only, my angel, and I love him.
I love him, I love him.
Quote by me. I don't think it really made much sense, but hey, I think it's pretty good! Alot of "I love him's" though. I was inspired by this (it's a sad quote though):
Oh, well. And now for a new topic (long post, I know)
I'm sure you saw my poll *points to the left [your right, I guess] at my sidebar at the poll* and it says "What Should I Name My Photography?" or something like that...couldn't think of a better name..but you know what I mean!
So, here are the choices:
  • oh, goshbubbles photography
  • jocee photography
  • ruby rain photography
  • flutterby wings photography
So, GO VOTE!!! I'm serious. Not kidding. Go vote. Whilst you do (hahaha "whilst") I'm going to be perfecting my camera skills and teach myself about watermarks.
And now I must go, so I leave you with this:
heh, heh, heh...knock yourself out.
