(this post was originally written yesterday but RIGHT BEFORE I hit "post" my computer shut down. And then it was my bedtime. Darn)
So I'm sitting here, munching on a carrot (which is my dessert today) thinking about tomorrow, and recovering from vacuuming the stairs (to mommy's request). Today I had my yearly doctor's appointment/check-up thing and the doctor said it'd be good if I switched from 2% milk to 1% milk or even skim milk. My response?
yuck.
Why? Because skim milk looks like water and milk fixed together in a not-so-epic fail, and it tastes like it too. Maybe I'll just have some cookies to make it taste better ;)
But overall, the day was good. Why? Well, because....
- I finished Ted Dekker's "Skin". Wow. Just....wow. Not my favorite book of his, but wow.
- The sun was shining and the tank was clean. And we don't even have pet fish!
- I *finally* emailed Mary back today. *FINALLY*
- I *finally* finished uploading my pictures onto the laptop *GASP* And speaking of which....
I'm uber excited to show you the very FIRST pictures I EVER got with my new camera:
(click on them so you can see the fully glory of them)
(Isn't that the most beautiful bokeh you've EVER seen?!? And these photos aren't even edited!)
(Okay, so maybe this one is, but I just love the colors of Cinemascope -insert sheepish smile here-)
Now, big problem. I don't know what to name my camera. Call me crazy, but I name all of my electronics. No, seriously! I named my KitchenAid "Mixy" and the main beater "Anchor" and then there's "Whiskers" and "Captain Hook"! Also, this laptop is named "Victorious" after the tv show ;) :P
My lovely friend Rachel suggested I have a giveaway to name my camera...soo....why not? Of course, I'd need to ask your approval on the prize. I don't know what the name of the giveaway would be, but I think it'd be cool if the winner received a handwritten letter made from me specifically to them! And then we could become pen pals. I asked my friend Lani Elizabeth and she said it wasn't normal, but it was a good idea! Besides, whoever said I was normal?
So, y'all comment and tell me if this giveaway is a good idea, and if you like it, I just *might* post it later today.
So, comments away!! *disappears like Wonder Woman* Yeah, because that how I roll :)

Seems like a fine idea ;p
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great idea!! I love naming things, I name everything. My camera's name is Addison :)
ReplyDelete<3 I'm so glad you liked my idea! =P I love the prize too...it's really sweet and heartfelt! Just like you! <3
ReplyDeleteI think that Idea would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe prize is better than some object because hand written letters are awesome(:
Sounds like an awesome idea! Handwriten letters are more special then a random prize because you know that the entire time that person was writing a letter to you they were thinking of you.
ReplyDeletewow. That prize would be like SOOOO awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteLove,
mary
Skim isn't my favorite either, but that cookie looks pretty awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove the giveaway idea!

ReplyDeleteI love naming things, especially electronics, and I love giveaways. So putting the both together would be awesome. You should totally do it =)
Yuck. Skim milk. I agree 100%.

ReplyDeleteand yes. i abhor skim milk as well. it's just...disgusting. no, 'disgusting' doesn't even come close to the true, and well deserved, description of skim milk. it just doesn't. okay. done ranting now. ;)
