baby steps.

the autumn leaves.
wisely and slow.
Photobucket
around the time when the rest of the world is experiencing autumn, texas decides to retain summer for as long as it possibly can. today, though, when i was outside taking pictures for a project, the first few bunches of auburn leaves were scattered among the boughs of branches. i guess it's taking baby steps. even though autumn is just now nigh, i'm putting up the Christmas tree next weekend. bazinga.

  2. arizona is much the same way, in that it doesn't quite experience autumn the same time as the rest of the world. such is the price we must pay for being southern belles ;)

also, i repeat: TAKE. ME. WITH. YOU.

  5. Count yourselves lucky because up here in north Dakota it is already snowing. It literally waited until one day after Halloween to snow.

And NO YOU ARE NOT PUTTING UP A CHRISTMAS TREE YET. It's not even Thanksgiving, you. ;-)

  8. Living in the tropics means no autumn season. </3 But wonderfully enough, some of the trees here are fantasizing about autumn and actually changing into reddish hues and sending down leaves. Which I thought was really cool-cool. Just like your pictures above.
