but baby it's hot outside.

.
usually, the curtains are open in the game room upstairs. after school (conservatory) today, i decided to head upstairs and relax. as soon as i reclined back in the chair and the sun found my toes, i was way too hot. yesterday or today was the first triple-digit day in houston, and needless to say, i'm not excited. but at least air conditioning is a thing. (this has been an attempt to post about something that's not along the lines of 'i miss my friends,' but i get the feeling that it's the subtext of everything. bear with me, judge me, slap me, but i miss my home so much. and attempting to not show it isn't the coolest thing.) (#wellthatescalatedquickly #pressing on.)

  1. first off--pretty pretty picture editing.
    second off--yes. ughughugh it's so true. crazy right?? and i definitely don't approve either. they said its going to be easier for us to 'connect' without gfc, but i disagree. gonna miss it, and since they are getting rid of gfc, i decided to go with bloglov'n for the time being, allot of other bloggers are.

  3. love that photo. word. and sorry if I've said this before, but this is what I've found: it's google reader that's going away, and as far as I can tell, GFC will still be around to follow through your blogger dashboard, at least for now. but if you use google reader for post updates, that's going away. so yeah, it's a little confusing, but that's what I've found.

    4. Aw, I know how this is so much. The family of my home (not literal home as in where I live) left and are never coming back and it not only tears me apart that I can't see them for a trivial reason, but that I won't ever get to see them again. It hurts. so bad.

  4. HAHAHAHAH, you are so far behind. we've got 120's this week. but i feel your pain.

    google reader... from what i can tell is like the 'root' of gfc. it's what stores your feeds. so if that was going away, it would make sense that gfc would disappear/stop working.

    whatever the case, bloglovin' is better.

  6. Oooh, I love when you start writing and then you realize there was like an underlying issue pressing beneath your words that you weren't even thinking about. And I get ya, cuz I'm missing my best friends right now, too. Really badly.

  8. I feel bad for complaining about the weather over here now. :(

    {And yes, I think GFC is going away. But probably sometime in the future. All I know is that Google Reader is going away, so that's why everyone has Bloglovin' now. At first, I thought it was GFC, so I made a Bloglovin' account as well, but then I realized it was Google Reader...I don't use that. I just use my Blogger Dashboard. XD So if GFC does go away, atleast I'll already have a Bloglovin' account.}
