a few favorites.

it's very quiet this evening.

monday morning, i woke up with a sore throat. i did my best to make it go away, and it did for the most part, but i still felt a little ache in my swallow that i couldn't understand. tuesday, the family left for a trip to see the grandparents, and i felt better then. surprisingly tired, and i napped on the ride there, and felt refreshed when we arrived. i visited audrey, who is out of the hospital and doing fantastically. i'm going to spend a week with her at camp, starting this monday. wednesday was quiet and very fulfilling. granddaddy barbecued and i played the piano, and later on we marveled at the tremendous humidity that could linger about at ten pm at the fireworks show. thursday we came home, and that was a quiet day also, except for joy's swimming awards ceremony and square dancing.

but friday, i still like best of all. i didn't sleep well last night, and i thought i had a fever this morning, but i'm glad to say that i don't, just a small case of the sniffles. in july, i know. it's awfully weird.
