around the time when the rest of the world is experiencing autumn, texas decides to retain summer for as long as it possibly can. today, though, when i was outside taking pictures for a project, the first few bunches of auburn leaves were scattered among the boughs of branches. i guess it's taking baby steps. even though autumn is just now nigh, i'm putting up the Christmas tree next weekend. bazinga.

ReplyDeleteBazinga? BEST WORD IN THIS WHOLE POST.
arizona is much the same way, in that it doesn't quite experience autumn the same time as the rest of the world. such is the price we must pay for being southern belles ;)
ReplyDeletealso, i repeat: TAKE. ME. WITH. YOU.
Florida isn't getting even a bit of Autumn! It sucks :( I hear we might actually drop below 80 degrees later this week, shocker! Haha :)

Count yourselves lucky because up here in north Dakota it is already snowing. It literally waited until one day after Halloween to snow.

ReplyDeleteAnd NO YOU ARE NOT PUTTING UP A CHRISTMAS TREE YET. It's not even Thanksgiving, you. ;-)
Also - once I find my tardis, I'll be at that concert. Please. Just let me have a tardis.
That top photo is awesome!
ReplyDeleteLiving in the tropics means no autumn season. </3 But wonderfully enough, some of the trees here are fantasizing about autumn and actually changing into reddish hues and sending down leaves. Which I thought was really cool-cool. Just like your pictures above.
ReplyDeleteoh, I want to come to warmwarmwarm texas. YOU'RE PUTTING UP A CHRISTMAS TREE??! no, no, no. this kills my purist spirit. christmas songs, trees and decor NEVER go up till december 1st. ok? ok.
