i'm just being me.

this is my favourite picture of him. and to be honest, i don't know why. maybe it's because of his haircut, and the way the awkward tuft on the back of his head screams "bedhead!". or maybe it's his jaws that have always been perfectly accented, growing more prominent as he grows. or maybe it's his lips; the perfect shade of pink that look nor bruised or made up. or maybe it's the fact that it is simply him, sans-smile (because it's okay to not always smile in picture), in a hoodie that's seen more cities than i have, without paparazzi in front or behind or a designer suit from burberry. this is the peter that i fell in love with after prince caspian, who's grown immensely since the lion, the witch and the wardrobe, and the william who has so many wonderful things to fulfill in his life. and i'll always be happy for him. and i'll always root for him. and i'll still go to narnia and be his queen at cair paravel and we'll have gloriously jawed children whose names i've already picked out and bring peace to all the lands. it's not for sentimental reasons that he's still on my sidebar. it's there because it's still true. it's still true even though tom hiddleston has taken over my tumblr (#ehehe) and eddie redmayne's vocal chords have taken over my heart (#ohmeohmymarius) and colin morgan's cheekbones have pretty much take over my ability to can. and, um, i'm not trying to be deep or philosophical here or anything, i'm just being jocelyn. i'm just being jocee (pronounced: jaw-see). i'm just being me. you know, the girl who came on the scene two years ago in four days {!!!}, with that massive obsession with all things narnia. i'm not really trying to make a point or anything, i'm just saying that this is william.

and he has this extraordinarily special place in my heart.

{pea ess: don't we all await that fateful day when my blog miraculously turns into my tumblr?}
{pea pea ess: hey, amanda. this is for you.}

going back to my roots.

if you've been reading cupcake dictionary from the very beginning, you've seen the changes that have occurred from the end of january 2011 to now: september 2012. and one of the things that changed is my love for narnia. i mean, i still love it, seriously, don't get me wrong, but i stopped telling you that; i stopped showing you.

it alarms me how people can just stop doing something. just drop it like it never happened. for instance, i used to love american girl dolls. and then one day, my interests changed. i still have those dolls, i still look at them everyday. but i don't wonder if, after i close my bedroom door, they come alive and have stories of their own that they can actually tell. i don't sleep with them and i don't tell them i love them anymore. i just stopped.

lately, i've had one or two comments from a few readers. some have blogs, some don't. but they loved the way it was back then, when i had a million photos of william moseley in my posts, and my post titles rambled on in all caps, and i didn't give a fig what everyone else thought, i just did what i did and that was that. i guess i have changed. maybe we all have. blogging teaches us things, about how to act and the proper etiquette.  it demands what we should and shouldn't like, because if we don't like those things, we won't grow and we won't get popular. and people have said i've changed because i've become like this. i can't really deny that i have, even though i think they want me too. i mean, not that they hate the blog, it's just that some qualities about it just disappeared. it happens to everyone. you know?

well, as captain america said when loki commanded him to kneel: "not today."
so. william moseley. this boy has grown. up. i can hardly remember him as the young peter pevensie in 2005's the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe. i mean, other than the fact that that was seven years ago, he was just a really young kid then. now, he's twenty-five {!!!} and has one heck-of-a-jawline, and has gotten a few roles since the last narnia movie.

and i saw one of them today, after doing a bit of research. in perception, he's cocky, with a very posh, high British accent, and it's delicious. the show itself isn't something that would keep me coming back for every episode, but i quite like his. and i've been stuck in a British accent for three hours since.
and did you know he's starring in this coming-of-age film called RUN? yeah. if you didn't know, then you should go watch the trailer now, and let yourself be at a loss for words for a couple of hours. or days. or the rest of your life. well that escalated quickly.

basically he's really beautiful and i really like him and i want to make him a batch of fresh cupcakes. so glad i got all that out in the open. here's looking at you, kid. and here's going back to your roots.
-kiss kiss kiss, run run run run run-
{pea ess: there's a reason why i just didn't delete that little spiff about him on my sidebar. i just can't let it/him go.}

a birthday letter for you.

dear william,
first, i want you to know that i currently have cupcakes in my house and that i ate a red velvet one and a white chocolate raspberry one in your honor. i should hope that by the time you read this letter {if you do} you'll have eaten and/or made plans to eat a cupcake. because cupcakes are cool. amen.

i think i first saw you in july of 2005, back when the lion, the witch and the wardrobe previews were starting to turn up. i was eight years old then, and i remember wanting to see that movie with a passion. i wasn't sure if i was going to, however, because it was rated PG and back in those days the letters PG were a confidentiality zone. i think i begged my parents to let me go. and then, on december 9th, 2005 at 2:40pm, i did, with my best friends and my dad.

ever since then, you've been my favorite. i think with you came my forever love of british people. my knowledge of the existence of cadbury chocolate. the love of hot tea. the longing to reign in narnia. speaking of which, i've been there many-a-time. haven't i seen you?

my friends haven't been exactly supportive of my choice of movies and favorites. they say you've had your glory days and that they're over. that narnia has come and gone. i mean, people will talk. but that doesn't mean i have to listen to them.

on may 17th, 2008 at 2:25pm, i saw prince caspian. no matter what anyone says, i think that one was my favorite. the score, the acting, the suspense and the action. you have done your part in making my childhood absolutely timeless, and i thank you for that. even if you were only in voyage of the dawn treader for about 2min and 38sec, i enjoyed every bit of it.

so now it's seven years later, and you're 25. getting up there, i have to say. i'm 15 and narnia hasn't aged to me one bit. you just finished run and you're working on the selection, and i'm waiting for the day you win your oscar/present mine {film scoring} in about fifteen more years.

but seriously. you should totally have a cupcake.
happy 25th, william peter moseley. you're still my favorite.

-kiss kiss kiss, i have it sorted-
{pea ess: the concert. oh. man. the concert. like, dude the concert. john williams would be so proud.}

i am sorry, but i just cannot resist

this post is indefinitely overdue, and now that it comes down to it, this is my last fangirl post for peter pevensie of this year. above it says "william moseley was my first and only celebrity crush." and though i was not the person who wrote this, i suppose it applies. in regards to this post, i do like boys. there's nothing wrong with it, and i think it's been nearly seven years since i first heard of peter pevensie, and saw the first Chronicles of Narnia. and has the crush left? not just yet.

in other news, he has a twitter, and is working on a new movie in the very near future. pardon me while i gush.
-kiss kiss kiss, GUSH-

a song, a quote, and a picture

a song

a quote
"we always want what we can't have, because what we can have isn't good enough." -me
a picture
My darling Mary made me this photo {yes, that is me} and it's a Me/Will kinda thing. He'll be the prince and I'll be the princess, it's a love story and I know he's going to say "yes". So, sorry out there if your hopes were crushed. But look on the bright side! Caspian is single!
G'night, loverlies. I tend to say "g'night" alot. You know? Yeah, I bet, haha.
-kiss, hug, kiss, kiss, kiss, hug, hug-

7.24.2011

i think my baby has some sense...

Because she cut his hair.
But personally, I don't like this type of cut. I quite like it the way it was during Prince Caspian.

Peter: "I had it sorted." Psshhh. Yes, dear.
I'm so proud of him!! Before now he kind of looked like he was....okay, nevermind. It was really bad. I mean....really bad.
But now, he's acceptable for loving again. Not that I stopped loving him, of course ;)
Oh, my darling. I've missed you. Like, alot.
*sigh* It's good to be back. And yes, the Pevensie's {and Caspian} are my own personal smiling group. Because they love me that much.
No seriously. They do.

7.16.2011

*screaming crazy fangirl-like*

{Now, before I begin, I know this will seem like all hype to y'all, since y'all just saw the new Harry Potter movie, and I feel like I'm missing out on a whole different like since I'm not allowed to see it, but please, be a dear, read this anyway} If you're all dying to know, no, I didn't meet {or kiss} William Moseley. Yet. BUT, I have a reason to celebrate.... Do y'all know that show iCarly? You know, the one with the meatball/fried chicken obsessed girl with the mother who apparently really likes Italian dudes, who has the best friend who cleaned the juicer ports when she was supposed to read the juice reports who has the brother who says stabbing isn't really an emotion, but it's more of an activity and he hopes it won't be done to him, who lives next door to the crazy mother who pounds fruit with mallets, who has the {rather attractive} son whose chai latte got slapped by his friend whose mom thinks he's awesome. (the people I've referenced {in order} would be Sam, Sam's mom whose name happens to rhyme with Sam's, Carly, Spencer, Mrs. Benson, Freddie, and Gibby)
Yes. That show.
And you know that show Victorious? You know, the one with the girl with the fabulous cheekbones that apparently look like sugarplums who has a sister who wants to see the color of her mucus who knows a guy who claims to like ketchup as much as the next guy who knows a girl who wants to be a unicorn who knows a guy who happens to wear male makeup who has a puppet who claims "people don't know what he got!" who knows a girl who has a purse made of monkey fur who knows a guy who happens to collect past president's relative's teeth who knows a guy who apologizes for...her who has a teacher who has visions caused by the juice of coconuts. (the people I've referenced {in order} are as follows: Tori, Trina, Andre, Cat, Robbie, Rex, Jade, Sinjin, Beck, and Sikowitz)
Yes. That show.
Well......{and you better get ready for this} MY AUNT {who's *totally* awesome, by the way} MET THE CREATOR OF THOSE SHOWS!!! MEANING DANWARP! DAN SCHNEIDER!! SCHNEIDER'S BAKERY!!!!!!!!
 {the photo won't load so click this link: photo}
You know, the guy that brought you LEGEND shows such as Zoey 101 and Drake & Josh and NOW iCarly and Victorious {which have been nominated for Emmys, by the way}. Yes, that guy. And my aunt met him. And gave him a hug as you can see in this picture. Which means: I hugged my aunt who hugged Dan Schneider who hugged the cast of iCarly and Victorious which means the next time I hug my aunt (which will be at Christmas) I will have basically hugged iCarly and Victorious. And all the other people who were in shows that he created before that. IS THAT NOT TOTALLY ROCKIN' AWESOME?!?!??!?!
*sigh* My life is complete. Well, not completely complete, because I haven't met and married William Moseley/Peter Pevensie. THEN my life will be complete. After we go to Narnia and rule as high king and queen....ANYWAY....
*sigh* Best. Day. Ever.

6.27.2011

i miss you, even though i haven't met you

Oh, Peter, Darling, it's been a long time, hasn't it? I've been a really bad girl, neglecting you like I have. But I here to make up for it, see? I'm here to make up for all those times I didn't get to hear your perfectly deep voice whisper, "Goodnight, beautiful," in that indescribably alluring British accent.
So, to make up but for neglecting-ness, this post is going to be entirely filled of pictures of the love of my life, my husband, and my High King of Narnia.
I don't know whose hand that is, but he looks soooooo serious and ssosoooo beautiful.
Look at how wistfully he's looking into the distance...wow...
*flipping out*
Yes, I know, still the same old pictures, but I've literally seen everything. I need more new pictures of him that DON'T include him with that weird insane hippie long hair. *ahem* Excuse me, dear. ANYWAY...
It's been a really long time since I've done a plain old fangirl post, and I'm redeeming myself. Am I a good girl again?
Yes. I think so.

5.20.2011

i'm to lazy to think of a post title. bummer, isn't it?

So as I'm sitting here, watching Wind At My Back, eating FIVE CHEESE macaroni & cheese (the ULTIMATE comfort food) waiting for the world to end, I can't help but think:

  • Of all the people who go to school on Monday and realize the world didn't end so they have to take finals...
  • Of all the people who will feel so stupid...
  • Of the guy who made up this whole "the world's gonna end on such-and- such date" thing.
  • Of the guy being excited because there's still October 21st, and December 21st of next year...(oh sure, yeah, the world's gonna end tomorrow, then Oct. 21st, then 2012. It's not like the world is a cat! It doesn't have nine lives)
  • Of all the people who haven't had this macaroni and cheese....(OMG IT'S SO GOOD)
  • Of all the people who will be kissing William Moseley goodbye, thinking they'll never get to have him..(HA! Now he'll be MINE!)
  • Of the many couples who are rushing to get married tonight...
  • And of myself...who's going to laugh hysterically when Sunday hits.
By the way:
Don't even think about arguing with me.

5.16.2011
